Day 2

• Theme – Grammar and Language:

  • French alphabet and pronunciation of various vowels

  • Personal pronouns to refer to different subjects in a sentence.

  • Interrogative words for forming questions.

  • Irregular verbs: ÊTRE (to be), AVOIR (to have).

  • Formation of first group of verbs ending with – ER

• Theme – Time and Numbers:

  • Numbers up to twenty.

  • Tens, numbers up to one hundred.

  • Ordinal numbers to describe order or position.

• Theme – The World Around Me:

  • Countries and nationalities.

  • Describing the country of origin using the verb être.

• Theme – Culture and Society:

  • Describing oneself using the verbs ÊTRE and AVOIR as well as the verbs from the first group ending in – ER

  • Learning of prepositions: en, de, à (au)

  • Getting to know the symbols of France and Croatia.

  • Review of learned material and aspects of French culture.

Day 3

• Theme – Grammar and Language:

  • Review of the previous day’s material.

  • Present tense of verbs from the second and third group of verbs ending with – IR and – RE

  • Irregular verbs: ALLER (to go), VENIR (to come).

• Theme – Time and Numbers:

  • Quelle heure est-il?“ – expressing time.

  • Days of the week, dates, months, and seasons.

• Theme – The World Around Me:

  • Sur l'île de Krk“ – vocabulary related to the island of Krk.

  • „Quel temps fait-il?“ (la météo) – expressing the weather forecast.

  • Use of the verbs ALLER and VENIR with specific prepositions (à, en, de, sur)

• Theme – Culture and Society:

  • Carte postale de Krk  – vocabulary related to the island of Krk.

  • Practice writing a simple postcard.

  •  Review of learned material and snippets of French culture.

Day 4

• Theme – Grammar and Language:

  • Review of material from the previous day.

  • Learning the construction of the past tense – passé récent, passé composé

  • Modal verbs: POUVOIR, VOULOIR, DEVOIR

  • Practice of learned irregular and modal verbs.

  • Vocabulary related to the market (fruits and vegetables).

• Theme – Time and Numbers:

  • Acting out - Scenarios

  • „Au marché – expressing quantities through market scenes.

  • Application and practice of modal verbs.

  • „Au restaurant“ – examples of ordering and paying the bill.

• Theme – The World Around Me:

  • „À Njivice“ – practicing city orientation.

  • Adverbs of place (à gauche, à droite, devant, derrière, dessous, dessus)

  • Practical exercises in navigating a city map.

  • Vocabulary related to the city (bank, post office, hospital, school, church).

• Theme – Culture and Society:

  • „Projets au futur “– expressing future plans.

  • Learning the construction of the future tense – futur proche

  • „Les vacances“ – language exercises for expressing holiday planning.

Day 5

 

• Final activities 

  • Course evaluation with final presentation: round-up of acquired competencies, Most common mistakes in French

  • Course feedback

  • Course evaluation

  • Awarding of Certificates
