Course description
The seminar offers a wide range of topics related to regional knowledge. You will learn a lot about the history and present of the country. Materials on geography, performing arts, music, pop culture, sport, film, literature and the world-famous Viennese cuisine are offered and processed using various methods. The school system and the peculiarities of the "Austrian" language are also addressed. The morning lessons are rounded off with project work at night and an obligatory museum visit. In this way, the participants have the opportunity to expand both their German language skills and experience the cultural diversity of the Austrian capital city. In this further training, great importance is attached to ensuring that course participants from different European countries have the opportunity to exchange ideas and network outside of the seminar hours. The varied afternoon programs are aimed at this goal.

E-learning methods: Learning apps and other learning environments – innovative teaching methods in practice
This 6-day course is designed to show how useful LearningApps are in teaching subjects. We will show how easy it is to create interactive learning modules using templates from the website. We will explain how to collect reusable building blocks and make them accessible to everyone. We would like to show you how you can playfully teach with LearningApps using innovative teaching methods. You can also get to know other Web 2.0 applications that will support your work: Actionbound, QR Maker, or other applications on request.
Course description
No specific PC knowledge is required. Knowledge of browsers and email programs is expected. A web-based email address should be available. You will need your own PC/tablet/notebook, + possibly a smartphone, during the course.
During the courses and the rich afternoon programs, the students can exchange ideas, try projects, and network.
At the end of the course, the participants will get a better insight into the use of LearningApps. You will learn how to integrate the interactive learning modules into the lesson to motivate the students to learn. You will be equipped with a broader technical vocabulary in the field of computer science. The participants will also learn to be inspired by a city tour, a museum visit and a visit to the Democracy Quarter. After completing the course, your knowledge of Vienna and its famous sights and culture will be broader.
